More About Richard Stelzer
Richard Stelzer is a California-based consultant who advises a wide variety of clients on strategy for written presentations. He is also an author whose acclaimed book, How to Write A Winning Personal Statement for Graduate and Professional School, is an outgrowth of more than 20 years of successful experience working with applicants from all over the world. “Many intelligent, accomplished and normally articulate individuals are completely at a loss when it comes to presenting themselves and their achievements in a suitably impressive way in the application essay,” says the author. “And yet this is imperative in this competitive arena. Indeed, whether writing for law school admission, business school admission or medical school admission, the applicant must proceed on the assumption that his or her personal statement will be given considerable scrutiny.” Mr. Stelzer is a frequent lecturer at such schools as UCLA and USC.
